Antarctica Cruises are Back!!

After a long and extremely difficult hiatus during the worldwide pandemic, we are thrilled to let everyone know that expedition cruises are soon returning to the polar waters. We know you all have longed for this moment!  Worldwide vaccination rates are rising fast, infections falling and restrictions easing. Finally, after 21 months, Argentina's borders are to open from November - with no quarantine requirements for vaccinated travellers! Chilean borders will also open, however currently still with a 5 day quarantine (which we hope will be removed soon). We can once again travel to Antarctica!

This fantastic news could not come soon enough, as all travel companies have suffered enormously during the restrictions. With just two months before the start of the Antarctic season, there will be limited ships to start off with, however there are still plenty of options if you are simply itching to fix your polar travel bug!  Needless to say, all ships will feature the highest levels of hygiene protocols and onboard testing to comply with government regulations. Some trips will also offer flight 'travel bubbles' from Buenos Aires. The most important requirement of all - which will be applicable for some time with all international travel - is that cruises are open to Vaccinated Passengers Only.

We know that not everyone is able to start travelling again quite yet, there are some countries that will take slightly longer to come out of restrictions. However patience is a virtue we have all learnt well during the last 18+ months and the important thing to know is that soon this terrible pandemic will be behind us.
