Adventurer

This classic small vessel offers outstanding-value Antarctica expeditions with adventure activities included

Tried, tested and made for exploration but now refurbished and renamed, the Adventurer has sailed for many years as MS Expedition, carrying adventurous travellers into some of the world's most remote waters. She has crossed the Southern Ocean, supported Zodiac landings and carried generations of expedition travellers into polar regions. In 2026 refreshed cabins, improved public spaces and new guest amenities bring a fresh spirit while keeping the ship's character intact.  Her dedicated mudroom, Zodiac-ready layout, observation spaces and proven polar design are all built around one priority: getting guests out into the environment. Less cruise ship, more expedition basecamp!

EXPEDITION PROOF

A REAL WORKING SHIP, NOT A FLOATING RESORT

She is not trying to be a floating fivestar resort. She is a comfortable expedition ship where the priority is the destination, the wildlife and the experience. Direct Zodiac boarding from the mudroom, expansive observation decks, stabilizers, a bow thruster and years of Antarctic and Arctic operation all add up to a ship built around the realities of polar travel. Onboard hotel operations led by a leading cruise hotel management company with decades of experience managing similar expedition vessels. Designed around getting out to explore: mudroom routines, Zodiac operations, lounges, dining and public decks all support the rhythm of a real Antarctic expedition.

LIFE ONBOARD

Inviting lounges, a well-stocked library and generous social spaces make it easy to swap stories, join a briefing or simply watch the scenery change outside. After a day outside in Antarctica, food matters. Expect fresh, varied and plentiful meals in a relaxed expedition atmosphere - the kind of dining that keeps the focus on the penguins, not the formalities.
