Here is a wonderful chance to spend 4 full days in the world's most renowned sub-Antarctic island: fabulous South Georgia.

The 84 passenger expedition ship M/V Ushuaia embarks this October/November on a 16 night expedition to South Georgia and Antarctica, during the Antarctic 'Spring': the early-summer period which offers spectacular snowy scenery and intensive activity amongst wildlife during the onset of the breeding season. Witness beaches crowded with hundreds of thousands of king penguins, harems of massive elephant seals and feisty fur seals. Marvel at the sublime beauty of the majestic wandering albatross at their nesting sites. South Georgia and Antarctica's wild mountain scenery, glaciers and icebergs will astonish you. Needless to say, the photographic opportunities will be endless! There will be many landing opportunities during the expedition, with 4 full days on South Georgia and 3 in Antarctica, plus an attempted landing at Shackleton's fabled base camp at remote Elephant Island.

The expedition embarks in Stanley, Falkland Islands and returns to Ushuaia, Argentina, however included is a charter flight from Santiago, Chile to Stanley.
